Every organization has a lot of processes that can be automated but do not feel the need to automate since technology is not matured or advanced enough. This was true a decade back. RPA has come a long way since then where organizations are building COE’s, Center of Excellence, in their organizations who’s whole and sole purpose is to identify processes that can be automated, build requirements that are then translated into an automated process which runs on virtual digital workers that are supported by IT. There are multiple RPA tools out there that are helping organizations build these automation’s and scale them rapidly to show the projected ROI (Rate Of Interest) and turn it into a reality. Best part is, most of these tools are low code-no code tools, which means that learning them is easier than learning a traditional programming language. While it is recommended to have some basic coding knowledge, it is not a prerequisite as the tool providers have their own learning academy’s with trainings tailored to suit different roles from Business Analyst to Developer to Implementation Manager and so on! That said, the RPA market is increasing at a rapid rate as show in the below block from Gartner that captures the Worldwide RPA Software Revenue :-
| 2019 | 2020 | 2021 | |
| Revenue ($M) | 1,411.1 | 1,579.5 | 1,888.1 |
| Growth (%) | 62.93 | 11.94 | 19.53 |

Due to the pandemic, there has been a major hit on IT and Non IT buyers which leads to believe that more organizations will increase their yearly spend and invest in RPA/IA to bring up automated processes that are scalable and reliable. This in turn will create more job opportunities which makes now the prime time to learn these toolsπ
